Alot of people here in Taiwan have been enjoying songs from
Melee like "Built To Last","Can't Hold On", "Frequently Baby
(She's A Teenage Maniac), etc., some on the radio and some
from YouTube or MySpaceMusic.
On November 27, 2008, Melee was scheduled to appear in Taiwan
at the Riverside Livehouse, a newer, fairly large venue in the
West Gate area where there are alot of clubs. All of us were
really excited that they were coming! I was especially happy
as my friend entered a contest and won two tickets to see them,
one for me and one for her, plus she has a "Meet and Greet" pass -
so she could go backstage to talk to them.
(I was so, so jealous of that!)
However, alas, it is not to be. The radio station that was
giving away the passes informed her that Melee has cancelled
their gig. So none of us who bought tickets or won tickets
and eagerly awaited their concert will get to see them?
Where are you, Melee? Why didn't you come? Are you planning
to reschedule sometime soon? I really think that your album
DEVILS AND ANGELS is great and was hoping to hear it live as
was my friend, ShowerSinger.
Please come to Taiwan another time!

We were extremely excited and looking forward to the gig in taiwan. However several things came up at the time with business and management that needed to be addressed then. It ended up being that we just couldn't do the show at that time. It bums me out to let people down, and I PROMISE that there will be a next time and it will be the best show you've ever seen.
